Description
Fortunella margarita hybrid
This interesting kumquat was observed by HC Barrett in 1986 as a limb sport on a Nagami kumquat seedling trial at the AH Whitmore Foundation Farm in Leesburg, FL. It’s leaves are variegated pale yellow and cream. Immature fruits are striped light green and yellow, but turns more orange as it matures. It is a thornless selection and lower seeded than Nagami. Enjoy as a fresh treat or add to your marmalade.
