Gold Nugget is from the University of CA Riverside. It is a seedless easy-peel mandarin type with good flavor. It matures approximately January – February. Very little is known about this variety and its production habits in Florida, but trees are quite HLB tolerant.

Fruit is bright orange, somewhat bumpy, and medium in size. Easy peel mandarin with rich and sweet flavor.
