In addition, our greenhouses are very warm to keep plants growing, which makes them more susceptible to cold damage. Purchased early in 2018 and potted in a 5gal. pot, this tree bloomed and set about a dozen fruit that 1st season. —Had to stake it up the fruit got so heavy. — Was unsure when to pick the fruit once it had started coloring up.—Eventually the fruit ‘picked itself’ like all in one day. — Found them that same morning and collected them, washed it and the fruit was very nice tasting out-of-hand to eat.— I see some marmalade in my future!

Small young ? plant arrived beautifully packaged June 2019 and started blooming one month later. I was really surprised.I replanted the Mewai in a 12 inch clay pot, used cactus/citrus potting mix.
I broke up pieces of clay pots and placed on bottom for good drainage. Covered top layer lightly with mulch and fertilizer.Made sure graft was exposed……
