Pickups by Appointment Only: We offer retail sales to consumers, but due to the diseases that affect citrus trees, do not allow visitors inside the greenhouses to select your own trees. We are not staffed to accommodate drop in visits, so please email or call before coming to pickup an order. We appreciate your respect of these rules to protect our livelihood.

Remember, we are a disease exclusion facility, so do not bring plant material of any kind to our nursery. We understand that you may need help diagnosing issues with your citrus trees, but please send pictures! You can email [email protected]. Please include your name and contact information with your pictures. You can also send pictures to the University of Florida for help too. [email protected].

Winter Shipping Alert: We do not recommend shipping outside of Florida when temperatures are at or below freezing. Citrus trees are tropical and are very cold sensitive. In addition, our greenhouses are very warm to keep plants growing, which makes them more susceptible to cold damage. If you are in an area where temperatures drop below 40 degrees F, we will recommend holding your order until it is safe to ship. We do not warranty freeze damage.

The Lakeland Limequat is the result of a cross made by Dr. Walter T. Swingle in 1909 between a Key Lime and a round Kumquat. It can be eaten whole or made into preserves.

The limequat is more cold hardy than a Key Lime, but less than a Kumquat. So, in locations that get frost, you must cold protect.
